The 2026 editions of UNEP-DHI’s online training courses are now open, offering practitioners, policymakers, and water professionals worldwide the opportunity to strengthen their skills in addressing today’s most pressing water challenges.
From climate shocks and water scarcity to pollution and deeply rooted inequalities, water lies at the heart of sustainable development. These courses provide practical knowledge and tools to support integrated, inclusive, and climate-resilient water management.
The 2026 course editions cover five thematic areas:
All courses are online, free of charge, and self-paced, allowing participants to progress according to their own schedules. Participants who successfully complete all modules within a course receive a certificate issued by the course organizers.
UNEP-DHI’s training courses are designed to bridge policy, science, and practice, equipping participants with applied insights that can be directly used in national, basin, and local levels. The courses are developed and delivered in collaboration with CAP-NET, as well as a wide range of UN agencies and other international water partners.
