To help answer the question :  “Why should gender matter to water
managers?” Cap-net UNDP,  in partnership with GWA, have produced a  self-learning tutorial aimed at water professionals that points to the benefits of including gender considerations in water management planning and practices.

It is intended to show how addressing gender would improve efficiency of water use and environmental sustainability, delivering significant social benefits and improving the equity in water use
resources.
