UNEP-DHI Centre has supported UNEP with the preparation of the project document for the GEF-funded REWarD (Reversal of Ecosystems and Water Degradation in the Volta Basin) initiative. The aim of the work is to reverse ecosystem and water degradation and support integrated ecosystem-based development in the basin through strengthened transboundary governance and restoration and conservation of ecosystems for sustainable livelihoods.
