Global Water Partnership and the UNEP-DHI Centre, through the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme, have supported the Ministry of Water of Tanzania to make a strong case for why water is undervalued in financial terms in the national budget compared to the significant economic value it brings to the country. This study was conducted using existing methodologies to evaluate the case of Tanzania, specifically focused on three important sectors for Tanzania: agriculture, manufacturing and mining. The results are presented in three knowledge products, a full report, a policy note and a methodological brief.
