The United Nations Environment Programme has published a new strategic document outlining its freshwater-related priorities. The document, to which UNEP-DHI was a contributor, describes the crucial role of freshwater bodies in meeting water-related SDGs and in addressing the three interlinked planetary crises: climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.

The report presents the status of IWRM implementation in Central America, based on the national reporting on SDG indicator 6.5.1 realized over the course of 2020.
